Every Day by David Levithan

Annike: Hey guys, so today I wanted to review a book I actually read late last year called Every Day by David Levithan. The reason that I started reading this was actually because I saw the trailer on Youtube and thought it looked really interesting – though Goodreads reviews maybe weren’t as promising. All the same, I decided to get it on my computer and give it a try. I have heard many good things about David Levithan but this is my first proper novel of his so that was also a driving factor. I am happy to say that I did really enjoy this book, it was quick and easy while also being extremely intriguing so without further ado, let’s get onto the review. (more…)

The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan

Annike: Hey guys! It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here with a review, but even though I can’t yet proclaim myself out of my reading slump – I am really trying to get back into reading as the holidays are now upon us! This week I have a book that’s a little different from my usual ones mainly because it is more of a book of poems than an actual novel and is called The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan. So without further ado let’s get onto it. (more…)

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

Annike:  So When Dimple Met Rishi is a book that has been very hyped over WordPress and because of this hype I went into this book with very high expectations. I was hoping for a story that really hooked me but I think it fell a little short at the end. Today I just wanted to review this book and let you know some of the things that I thought about the book in comparison to some other reviews I have read around. (more…)

Saving Francesca and The Piper’s Son by Melina Marchetta

Annike: Hey guys! So as you may have seen in our September Wrap Up post, I recently finished Saving Francesca after rereading it. Only after that did I realise that The Piper’s Son was actually a companion novel to that story and because I loved Saving Francesca so much I knew I had to read that one too. I thought it would be best to do two little mini reviews on these 2 books since they kind of lead off one another and I loved them both. (more…)

What to Say Next by Julie Buxbaum

Annike: Hey guys, sorry that some of the reviews are a little backlogged at the moment but I read What To Say Next towards the end of September and wanted to review it to let you guys know what it was like and how I found it so here goes… (more…)

Lucky in Love by Kasie West

Annike: Hey guys, so as some of you might know, I am a massive Kasie West fan so as soon as I new she had a new book coming out I put it on my TBR and patiently awaited its arrival. I only ended up finishing this book early September even though it did come out on July 31st this year but all the while I wanted to let you guys know what I thought about it in this review so here we go. (more…)

Nerve by Jeanne Ryan Joint Review

Annike: Hey guys, Zoe and I are officially on holidays which means we can finally get on top of blogging again. I promise we will try to do as many tags and awards we have been tagged in that we can. We really appreciate it when you guys think of us for those things – it’s just sometimes a little hard to get to them all. On another note, Zoe and I finally both read a book and will be reviewing it together today which is quite uncommon on this blog! Hope you enjoy hearing from both of us, let’s go 🙂 (more…)

Feel Me Fall by James Morris

Annike: Hey guys, I actually read this book last month but totally forgot to put it down on the wrap-up and can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it yet. Anyways, I am here to make up for that now with a review on the book Feel Me Fall by James Morris which I actually received from the author in exchange for an honest review back in July (sorry about that) and while it took me a little while to start, when I got into it I couldn’t stop! Let’s get onto the review… (more…)

The Names They Gave Us by Emery Lord

Annike: Hey guys, so I’m here today with a book review on The Names they Gave Us by Emery Lord. I LOVE Emory Lord – particularly The Start of Me and You that she wrote but I also really enjoyed When We Collided too. So, I had been really keen to read The Names They Gave Us ever since it came out. I am SO SO happy to report that this book lived up to my hopes and I adored it so much! (more…)
