Gemini by Sonya Mukherjee

Annike: Hey guys, I wanted to quickly say that we decided to skip our TBR of this month just because we didn’t think it was particularly necessary – even though we will continue to do it just didn’t feel like it this month. Anyways, today I am here with a review on a book called Gemini by Sonya Mukherjee. You might have seen it in the September Wrap Up post we did quite little while ago and I wanted to tell you guys a little about what I thought of it. (more…)

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

Annike:  So When Dimple Met Rishi is a book that has been very hyped over WordPress and because of this hype I went into this book with very high expectations. I was hoping for a story that really hooked me but I think it fell a little short at the end. Today I just wanted to review this book and let you know some of the things that I thought about the book in comparison to some other reviews I have read around. (more…)

Saving Francesca and The Piper’s Son by Melina Marchetta

Annike: Hey guys! So as you may have seen in our September Wrap Up post, I recently finished Saving Francesca after rereading it. Only after that did I realise that The Piper’s Son was actually a companion novel to that story and because I loved Saving Francesca so much I knew I had to read that one too. I can’t believe that it has under 500 ratings on Goodreads but without further ado let’s get onto it. (more…)

Optimists Die First by Susin Nielsen

Annike: Hey guys! So, I’m back with a book review on a book that I read back in June! I know it’s been a while but I promised a review in our June Wrap – Up. I do want to say straight off; this book wasn’t my favourite book ever because I didn’t really think there was anything particular special or exciting about it but I figure I’ll tell you a little about the things I liked and didn’t like about it and let you decide for yourself whether to pick it up or not.
