The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

Zoe: Welcome back everyone. Sorry our posts have been few and far between, but today I am going to be reviewing the very popular book which I have been waiting to read for ages called The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. Annike’s Favourite 5 Books of 2017!

Annike: Hey guys, so similarly to last year, Zoe and I are going to do 2 separate posts that’ll go up together for our favourite books of the year. So these are our last blog posts of 2017 – which is crazy. This year I read 94 books in total. 22 of which were audiobooks (!) and the rest which I read in hard cover. This was actually the first year I started listening to books and they were great considering I have so little time to properly read. And surprisingly I only had 6 books that I have 5 stars, so either I’m getting a bit stingy or my reading year wasn’t as good as it was last year. So without further ado, let’s get onto my favourite books of 2017 and some honourable mentions at the end. (more…)

The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan

Annike: Hey guys! It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here with a review, but even though I can’t yet proclaim myself out of my reading slump – I am really trying to get back into reading as the holidays are now upon us! This week I have a book that’s a little different from my usual ones mainly because it is more of a book of poems than an actual novel and is called The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan. So without further ado let’s get onto it. (more…)

November Wrap Up and December TBR ~ 2017

Annike: Hey guys, so we are just about to get to the end of the school year and then we’ll be back on WordPress a bit more frequently. Zoe and I didn’t read too many books this month so I figured we’d combine our Wrap Up and TBR posts for last month and this month to fill you all in on November and our plans for December. Let’s get onto it. (more…)

The Time Travellers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

Annike: Hey guys, you may have noticed that both myself and Zoe haven’t really been around much this month. We’ve put up a few posts here and there but haven’t been particularly active on WordPress with reviews or anything and that is because we’ve been so busy that we haven’t really had much time to read. Despite this I have managed to finish a really good book I wanted to review and also wanted to let you know that holidays are coming up in a little over a week so it shouldn’t be long before we’re back and have more time on our hands again. Now without further ado let’s get onto the review for The Time Travellers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. (more…)
